“Tall Cop” Brings Drug Awareness Training to Southwest Minnesota

This fall, parents, educators, and community members will have a unique opportunity to gain insight into current drug trends and youth risk behaviors during two upcoming presentations of High in Plain Sight, led by nationally recognized substance misuse expert Jermaine Galloway, also known as Tall Cop.
Galloway, a former law enforcement officer with over 20 years of experience, specializes in substance misuse prevention and education.
His presentation is designed to help adults identify subtle warning signs of drug use, understand concealment tactics, and stay informed about the fast-evolving landscape of substance-related risks facing today’s youth.
The events will take place on:
September 30, 2025 | 6:15–7:30 PM
Pipestone Performing Arts Center
104 Main Street East, Pipestone, MN 56164
October 1, 2025 | 6:15–7:30 PM
Marshall High School Theater
400 Tiger Drive, Marshall, MN 56258
These free events are open to the public and intended for adults ages 18 and older. Attendees can expect to leave with actionable tools to support youth in their communities and prevent early substance misuse.
Certificates of attendance and CEUs will be available.
RSVPs are encouraged and can be submitted via the QR code featured on the flyer or by contacting Jennifer Nelson at [email protected] or 507-532-1243.
The High in Plain Sight presentations are sponsored by Southwest Health and Human Services, the Southwest Prevention Network, Pipestone Area Coalition, and the Pipestone Performing Arts Center.
