Local Communities Gather to Honor Military Sacrifice This Memorial Day

Today, on Memorial Day, we pause as a community to remember and honor the brave men and women of the U.S. military who gave their lives in service to our country.
While this day often marks the start of summer, its true meaning lies in reflection, gratitude, and remembrance.
Across southwest Minnesota, families, veterans, and community members are gathering to pay tribute—through music, speeches, prayers, and solemn silence.
