Granite Falls’ Sweet Spot: Discovering Carl’s Bakery

Carl’s Bakery is a hidden treasure in Granite Falls, where the comforting scent of freshly baked treats welcomes visitors the moment they step inside.
This cozy, family-owned bakery has been satisfying sweet cravings for generations, with a selection of baked goods that showcase both tradition and craftsmanship.
While the shelves are lined with an assortment of tempting treats, it’s the donuts that truly shine.
Each one is made with care, using time-honored techniques that create the perfect balance of light, fluffy texture and just the right amount of sweetness.
The dough is prepared fresh daily, fried to golden perfection, and finished with house-made glazes and fillings that elevate every bite.
The classic glazed donut remains a favorite, offering a delicate crispness on the outside and a soft, airy interior. For those who love a little indulgence, the chocolate-frosted donut delivers a rich, velvety finish, while seasonal flavors—like maple bacon or pumpkin spice—bring an element of surprise throughout the year.
Beyond the donuts, Carl’s Bakery is a haven for pastry lovers.
Breads, cookies, and other baked delights fill the display cases, each made with the same dedication to quality. Every visit offers something new to discover, whether it’s a timeless favorite or an inventive seasonal creation.
The friendly staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere, always ready to offer a recommendation or share the latest flavors fresh from the oven.
A visit to Carl’s Bakery is more than just a stop for something sweet—it’s an experience filled with warmth, tradition, and flavors that keep people coming back for more.
Whether indulging in a morning treat or picking up a box to share, every bite is a reminder of the simple joy that comes from a perfectly made donut.

Workshops will be held in person on March 14 at 2:00 p.m.
Applications must be submitted by April 4, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., as late submissions will not be accepted.
