Construction Company Employee Accused of Forgery and Fraud in $95K Theft
A former accountant at KHC Construction in Marshall, Rikki Lee Kor, has been charged with stealing over $95,000 from the business.
According to court records, Kor allegedly issued forged checks to herself and made unauthorized purchases, such as gift cards, using company credit cards.
Her actions were discovered after the business collaborated with an external accounting firm during an office transition. Additionally, Kor is accused of defrauding the staffing company that placed her by intercepting payments meant for her salary.
She faces multiple charges, including check forgery, financial card fraud, and theft by check, with an upcoming court hearing today, Oct. 1, 2024.
