Marshall Honors Heroes: Annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

The City of Marshall will hold its annual "Remembering 9/11" ceremony today at 10:00 AM.

The event will take place at Memorial Park, providing an opportunity for the community to gather in remembrance of the lives lost during the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

For those unable to attend in person, the ceremony will be broadcast live by Studio 1 TV: Marshall Community Access at marshallstudio1tv.com/studio1live.

Get ready for a weekend of treasure hunting at the Picker’s Paradise Fall Show, happening on Saturday, September 14th (9am-4pm) and Sunday, September 15th (10am-3pm) at the Red Baron Arena in Marshall, MN.

Explore handcrafted goods, antiques, baked treats, and much more from local artisans and crafters. Plus, your admission ($3 on Saturday, $1 on Sunday) supports Habitat for Humanity!

Don’t miss out on the door prizes, silent auction, and raffle fundraiser—all for a great cause. Food and beverages available.

Event Details:

  • Location: Red Baron Arena, 1651 Victory Dr, Marshall, MN

  • Admission: $3 on Saturday (includes Sunday), $1 on Sunday, kids under 12 free

  • Activities: Door prizes, silent auction, raffle fundraiser, food, and beverages

Tragic Incident in St. Louis Park Leaves Two Dead and Three Injured

A tragic incident unfolded at the Park Tavern in St. Louis Park, MN, when a man drove his car into the restaurant's outdoor patio, killing two people and injuring three others.

The driver was arrested for criminal vehicular homicide, though authorities have yet to provide a motive.

Among the victims were staff from Methodist Hospital. The crash occurred during a group celebration at the restaurant. T

he Park Tavern has since closed, and the Minnesota State Patrol is conducting an accident reconstruction as the investigation continues.
