Nine Fatalities: DNR Reminds Boaters to Stay Vigilant

As the boating season winds down, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) urges residents to remain cautious on the water.
With nine boating-related fatalities reported this season, the DNR stresses the importance of continued vigilance.
Safety tips include wearing life jackets, especially for children, avoiding alcohol while boating, informing someone of your plans, and staying aware of weather conditions.
Boating can be a fun activity, but it’s crucial to prioritize safety to avoid accidents as the season comes to a close.
