Marshall YMCA Gym Closure: Refinishing Project and Labor Day Hours
The Marshall Area YMCA gymnasium will be closed from August 26th through September 2nd for scheduled floor refinishing.
Regular activities in the gym will resume at 5 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3rd, once the refinishing work is completed.
Additionally, please note that the YMCA will observe Labor Day on Monday, September 2nd, and the entire facility will be closed.
The YMCA team looks forward to welcoming members back to a refreshed and polished gym floor.
Two Injured in Highway 19 Collision in Redwood County

Two people were injured following a crash on Highway 19 in Redwood County on Saturday morning, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The accident occurred around 11:01 a.m. when both a 2011 Nissan Sentra and a 2010 Toyota Corolla were heading west on Highway 19 in Vesta Township.
The collision happened as the Nissan attempted to make a left turn onto Eagle Avenue.
The Nissan’s driver, 29-year-old Nichole Marie Wilson from Anoka, and the Toyota’s driver, 34-year-old Randy Leroy Wilhelm from Huron, SD, both sustained injuries that were not life-threatening.
They were taken to Redwood Hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
Emergency assistance at the scene was provided by the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, North Memorial Ambulance, and Vesta First Responders.
