Celebrate July 4th on July 5th: Marshall Postpones Festivities Due to Weather

The Fourth of July is a time for Americans to come together in celebration of freedom and independence.
It’s a day filled with fireworks, parades, barbecues, and community gatherings, embodying the patriotic spirit and love for the country.
Let’s honor our nation's history, reflect on our country’s values, and enjoy the camaraderie that brings everyone together in celebration of America’s enduring spirit.
Because of the storm forecasts Marshall will move its fireworks and festivities to July 5th - so we have 2 days to celebrate 😉
The city shared the news on Facebook, noting that Friday night has a much lower chance of rain.
The events will stick to the original plan, with fireworks at 10:15 p.m. in Independence Park.
Thursday is expected to be stormy, but the weather should clear up by Friday night.
Enjoy food vendors, the Marshall Municipal Band at 7:30 p.m., and a performance by Joslynn Rose at 8:45 p.m.
It's a time to reflect on our history, celebrate our freedoms, and simply have a good time with the community.
🎆🎆🎆 Happy Independence Day! 🎆🎆🎆
