Marshall Armory to Undergo $10.9 Million Renovation
The National Guard Armory in Marshall is undergoing significant renovations and expansion, with construction work starting this spring.
The $10.9 million project, planned for years, aims to update the facility built in 1955. The renovated armory will grow from 15,400 to 24,900 square feet, featuring new mechanical systems, accessibility improvements, and energy-efficient upgrades.
Construction began in April and is expected to be substantially completed by fall 2025.
Coordination with the Minnesota Department of Transportation's College Drive reconstruction, which includes a new roundabout, is also planned.
