Marshall Plans Fee Increases for Liquor Licenses
Marshall will hold a public hearing on July 23 at 5:30 p.m. to discuss proposed liquor license fee increases.
The on-sale intoxicating liquor license fee is set to rise from $3,000 to $3,500.
Fees for 3.2% malt liquor licenses and temporary on-sale permits will also see increases.
Businesses must be notified 30 days in advance. The last fee revision was in 2018. Currently, 14 businesses hold an intoxicating liquor license.
Single-Vehicle Accident on Highway 59 Injures Marshall Teen
A 19-year old Marshall man was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 59 in Yellow Medicine County on Tuesday afternoon.
The crash occurred around 4:08 PM when the driver’s northbound 2018 International truck veered off the road near 210th Avenue.
He sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Avera Marshall Medical Center. The Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office, Clarkfield Fire, and EMS responded to the incident.
