New Wind Energy Project: Purple Skies to Start Construction in 2026
Invenergy's Purple Skies Wind Energy Center is set to begin construction in 2026.
This project, led by Invenergy, aims to utilize wind energy as a sustainable source of electricity.
The Purple Skies Wind Energy Center signifies a shift towards diversifying our energy portfolio.
Stay tuned for updates as construction progresses, marking an important milestone in our energy landscape.
Schwan’s Grows: 142 Acres Purchased for New Sioux Falls Facility
Schwan’s Company has purchased 142 acres in Sioux Falls’ Foundation Park to build a 700,000 square-foot production facility for its bibigo Korean food brand, creating over 600 jobs.
A new regional office will also open, initially adding 50 jobs. This expansion won’t impact Schwan’s operations in Marshall.
The project includes a warehouse, distribution center, and a wastewater treatment facility, developed with state and city officials
