Trump Convicted in Hush-Money Scandal

Former President Donald Trump has been found guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records in connection with a $130,000 hush-money payment to adult film actress Stormy Daniels.

The New York jury's decision followed a lengthy trial and two days of deliberations.

The charges stemmed from Trump's efforts to classify the payment as a business expense, with the jury determining that these actions were connected to other crimes, including campaign finance violations.

Trump is scheduled to be sentenced on July 11, 2024.
