Tragic Outcome in Grain Bin Incident Near Balaton
Following the efforts to rescue a man trapped in a grain bin near Balaton on Tuesday, it has been confirmed that the man did not survive.
Multiple emergency services, including local fire departments and North Memorial Air Care worked tirelessly to save him.
Despite their best efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigations are ongoing at this time.
Construction for Second Marshall KwikTrip Begins in June
Marshall will soon see the construction of its second KwikTrip.
The second KwikTrip’s location will be at the junction of Highway 68 and Highway 59.
The project is expected to take approximately three and a half months, with work beginning in early to mid-June.
The site, previously home to Cattoors convenience store, has been re-platted and consolidated.
This follows the successful launch of the first KwikTrip in Marshall earlier this year.
