Collaboration Saves Man Submerged in Grain Bin in Murray County

On Tuesday afternoon, emergency teams in Murray County rescued a man trapped in a grain bin at a farm on 211th Street.

The incident happened around 3 PM when the man became fully submerged in grain and could not be located initially.

The Murray County Sheriff’s Office, alongside fire departments from Balaton, Tracy, Garvin, and Marshall, as well as North Memorial Ambulance and Air Care, participated in the rescue operation.

The man's condition and identity remain undisclosed, and the incident is still under investigation.
