  • Summer Sweetness Awaits at Hilltop Harvest: Strawberries, Flowers, and Family Fun!

With summer just around the corner, it's time to find the sweetest spots to enjoy the season. Here’s one hidden gem we found: Hilltop Harvest near Redwood Falls!

Hilltop Harvest is a family-owned farm has been delighting visitors with juicy strawberries for nearly 25 years. Located at 33343 Hunter Ave., Hilltop Harvest offers more than just berries. Families can enjoy a playground for the kids and a food truck serving delicious waffles or ice cream topped with fresh strawberries.

Owners Katherine and Nick have continued the farm's legacy, started by Katherine's dad in 1999. They moved back to the farm after Nick finished law school, and have been hands-on ever since, planting their first field in 2016.

Katherine's passion for flowers led to the addition of a you-pick flower field in 2023, which has quickly become a customer favorite.

What sets Hilltop Harvest apart is the sense of community. Each strawberry season feels like a reunion, with familiar faces returning year after year. Katherine and Nick cherish the opportunity to share their farm with visitors, creating a welcoming and memorable experience for all.

The farm is actively involved in the local community. Katherine is a member of the Redwood Falls Rotary Club and the Redwood Area Chamber Ag Committee, while Nick supports the Redwood Area Library Foundation’s expansion project.

This summer, Hilltop Harvest is packed with exciting plans. The farm recently rebranded, complete with a fun new logo and cute shirts available both at the farm and online.

Strawberry season starts mid-June, and flower season kicks off in July with bouquet subscriptions available for pick-up in Marshall and Redwood Falls.
